The Bavaria 38 is one of the most popular sailing yachts Bavaria has ever built—and for good reasons. She is a spacious boat with excellent sailing performance!

This Bavaria 38 has been modernized in all key areas and has been well maintained throughout her life.

Among other upgrades, the boat is equipped with newer Raymarine navigation electronics from 2020 and a completely new Raymarine autopilot from 2021 with a linear drive. The underwater hull was completely stripped and rebuilt with a new epoxy primer system. The sails are virtually new. Full details can be found in the document “Bavaria 38 – Specifications.”

This Bavaria 38 features a spacious saloon and three cabins. The saloon has a U-shaped seating area and a longitudinal bench to port. The galley includes a double sink, a cool box, and a new two-burner stove with oven from 2020. A traditional chart table is located to starboard.

Further forward is the boat’s heads compartment. It is fitted with a holding tank that can also be emptied through the deck. Naturally, there is hot and cold water, making it possible to shower as well. The heads can be accessed from both the saloon and directly from the forward cabin.

The forward cabin has a large double berth. In 2026, new mattress toppers made specifically for this boat were fitted. Ample wardrobe space keeps luggage neatly stowed.

Aft are two identical cabins, also fitted with new mattress toppers, each providing comfortable sleeping accommodation for two people.

The cockpit has two longitudinal benches with storage underneath and a cockpit table in the center. The folding steering wheel provides easy access to the stern, where the transom can be lowered to create a large bathing platform.
All necessary navigation instruments are located directly in front of the helm, and the sails can be handled conveniently from the cockpit, as all halyards are led aft.

All in all, this is a very well-equipped and modernized Bavaria 38—a yacht that will provide its new owners with many years of sailing pleasure.
